Andrea is an unapologetic late bloomer and devoted caregiver who can usually be found curled up in a chair, drinking the room temperature tea that she's reheated probably a dozen times! Her passion for nurturing people's desire to feel seen comes not only from her own journey of finding a sense of belonging in the world, but also from her experience as a caregiver for her mother with Alzheimer's. It's through these intertwined journeys that she's found a deep well of empathy and understanding to invite others to lean into as well. As a caregiver, Andrea knows firsthand the challenges of feeling isolated and unseen, and it's from this place that she seeks to build bridges of connection between people. Because in a world that often feels divided and isolated, it's time we nurture our shared humanity and cultivate a sense of belonging for all - especially for those who give so much of themselves in the service of others.
Andrea lives, works, and plays from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is available for speaking engagements.
